The Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated during his visit to Tehran-North Freeway:
Exploiting the lane from Tehran to chalous of lot 2 in 1402 and the government's planning to provide for the lack of financial resources of the Tehran - Shomal Freeway.

During this visit, the chairman of Mostazafan Foundation informed about the completion of the construction works for the route of Lot 2 by the end of the year and the possibility of people crossing in the spring of next year.

Managing director of Tehran-Shomal Freeway Company on 05/04/2022, referring to details of traffic statistics and great numbers of Nowruz passengers travelling through this freeway, reported that there were no injured and dead ones among passengers travelling through Tehran-Shomal Freeway.

a 5,000-ton rock in kilometer 11 of North portal of TU-11 in lot 1 of Tehran - shomal Freeway was exploded In order to prevent any probable dangers due to the rock fall and make more safe the road for the passangers.

During a joint visit by Mostazafan Foundation chairman and the Minister of Roads, referring to the government's planning to fulfill its financial obligations to complete of lot 2 of this project, they said; the route of lot 2 from Tehran - Shomal Freeway shall be opened up to the end of the next year.
