Managing director of Tehran-Shomal Freeway Company on 05/04/2022, referring to details of traffic statistics and great numbers of Nowruz passengers travelling through this freeway, reported that there were no injured and dead ones among passengers travelling through Tehran-Shomal Freeway.

He stated: due to the technical and safety conditions of these routes, the traffic on freeways is of a much higher quality and safety, and continued: Also this year, fortunately, there were no injured and dead ones among passengers travelling through Tehran-Shomal Freeway , and travelling duration was shorter by 105 minutes compared to the old Tehran-Karaj-Chalos route, and it was up to 4 hours less during peak traffic.

Referring to the Mostazafan Foundation chairman emphasis on requirement to increase services for passengers of Tehran - Shomal Freeway, Mr.Shahsavari said: In Nowruz 1401, the service road maintenance, and rescue equipment and teams were increased during Nowruz 1401 for 24 hours of days and nights. Also by setting 3 mobile fuel stations in lot 1 of Tehran-Shomal Freeway, we tried to resolve the problems of passengers on supplying fuel.
